Earthfire Essence Cacao
Ingredients
20-25g Entre Nubes
250ml Oat No Sugar (or another milk alternative or water)
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
0.5 tsp Ground Ginger
0.25 tsp Cayenne
0.25 tsp Orange Extract
Method
Chop your cacao using a knife.
Add the milk/water to a pan and warm gently. Do not boil.
Add the chopped cacao and other ingredients. Add the Cayenne and Orange last and start slowly. You may want more or you may want less.
Whisk until combined and smooth.
Intention
This recipe was created with the origin of my cacao in mind. Earth Connection Cacao is from Guatemala. There are around 40 volcanoes in the country. So this cacao has grown in the shadow of the volcano. It has come from a ground that has seen massive upheaval over the course of history. Underneath its roots are chambers of fire. This recipe reflects that earthfire essence.
As you sit and sip this cacao, I want you to be as the volcano. Allow the energy to build, the emotion to erupt and then, most importantly, for all to settle. You see, not all eruptions are destructive, the majority are bursts of energy that quickly settle and allow the volcano to rest again. So remember this as you sit with this cup. Allow stillness to return to you.
