Mugwort Magic Cacao

Ingredients

25-30g Cahabon

200ml Oat No Sugar (or another milk alternative or water)

50ml Mugwort Tea (prepared in advance, steeped for an hour or more)

1 tsp Vanilla Paste or Extract

1 tsp Ground Cinnamon

1 tsp Maca Powder

0.25 tsp Cayenne

Method

  1. Prepare your mugwort tea so it has time to infuse.

  2. Chop your cacao using a knife.

  3. Add the milk/water and the mugwort tea to a pan and warm gently. Do not boil.

  4. Add the chopped cacao and other ingredients.

  5. Whisk until combined and smooth.

Intention

With this recipe, I wanted to connect cacao with something more local to me here in the north of the UK. Cacao only naturally grows within a small area north and south of the equator. So it is not native to my home country. To connect with it and have access to it is an honour. But as we all know, the Mother Earth is one big ball of connected energy and so I want to bring union between sacred plant medicines.

As you sit and sip this cacao, please hold in your awareness, the importance of bringing the separate together. A union is a beautiful thing. It can bring balance to you and to all around you.
